Strong mob, strong peak | Kempsey

AbSec is coming to Kemspey this October to sit down, listen up, and grow with mob, because real change only ever starts with you. Join us at the Dunghutti Elders Council and share your voice on what matters most in your community.
15 October , 10:00 am - 2:30 pm

Dunghutti Elders Council

We’re heading to three regions to sit down, listen up, and grow with mob, because real change only ever starts with you.

We’re building stronger pathways together for our children, young people, families, and communities, listening deeply, and sharing in the healing work that brings us forward, together. AbSec stand for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people and families across New South Wales. We amplify your needs and experiences at a state and national level and we can only do that well when we walk alongside you. AbSec invites you to yarn with us on Country.

This event is a space for mob to learn about and contribute to AbSec’s current policy priorities—like pushing for greater investment in early support and radically redesigning a system that too often separates our children from their families and culture.

Your voices and stories are the basis for all our work, and that’s why we will return to these communities every 6 months to keep listening and learning.

Whether you’re part of an ACCO or a community member, your insight helps guide AbSec’s work as the Peak Body—because meaningful reform starts with you.
