DESCRIPTION:Walking Together: Collaborative Pathways to Holistic Family Wellbeing\nOur theme “Walking Together: Collaborative Pathways to Holistic Family Wellbeing” reflects the importance of respectful partnerships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities\, service systems\, and government in ensuring that all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who interact with the Child Protection and Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) systems grow up strong in identity and connected to culture and Country. \nAbout this gathering \nThe February 2026 Quarterly Sector Forum\, we’ll be gathering on Wiradjuri land\, and we acknowledge and pay our respects to the 8 traditional groups & custodians of these lands in Central-Western NSW. \nThis is more than just a gathering – it’s a chance to connect\, learn\, and drive meaningful action alongside sector leaders\, advocates\, and community members. This gathering will reinforce the importance of having Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices front and centre. \nMeals provided: Morning tea\, lunch\, and afternoon tea will be served each day to ensure everyone is well-fuelled for meaningful discussions. \n\n\n\nDay One\nOpen to all stakeholders — here we broaden the dialogue to include allies and partners in our journey.\nDay Two\nExclusive to Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) and community members for culturally safe\, in-depth conversations.\n\n\n\nNetworking opportunities \n\n\n\nEnd Day One with a relaxed networking event to foster deeper connections within our community.\nDay Two will conclude with an open forum for ACCOs and community members to share insights and coordinate efforts for a collective impact.\n\n\n\n\nDownload the February agenda\n\n\nQuarterly Sector Forum Survey 2026\n \nTickets are sold out!\nFor more information contact Celeste Ambalong (Events Coordinator) at Celeste.Ambalong@absec.org.au
